Predictions of Future Events
Assuming the world isn't destroyed by our own rotten decision making, Jesus hasn't returned yet, or some other cataclysmic event has not prevented these, here are my predictions of events which will occur, and what date they were made.

You could have Amelia Earhart play as every role in The Matrix, or some future boy band heartthrob portray every role in Casablanca, or any combination of any cast of your choice, with potentially option to establish credit for having being the original on-demand casting decision maker (perhaps like a casting director, of the on-demand variety), for a casting choice that works especially well by popularity. |
| 2026-0325 | The world will not have flying cars as an ordinary/normal way of life, unless control over their movement is restricted to some variety of automation, such as AI or otherwise non-human navigation, because people are barely intelligent enough to drive just two dimensionally |
| 2026-0325 | There will be a huge market for the purchasing of estates of individuals, in order to be able to license their likenesses (or other such subjects we don't even know about yet) in media. Inheritors of estates will be able to sell said estates for top dollar if, with it, the purchase includes the irrevocable license to use the decedent's likeness, unless the decedent or heir otherwise revokes such licenses. Since, currently, there are no common standards for wills which contain caveats to prohibit such uses, there will be a market for researchers who track successive inheritances from person to person to find out who possesses the legal right over someone's likeness inheritance who never specified it. In like manner that most people nowadays are unaware that one ought specify whether to restrict the licensure of one's likeness, there will be other variables we currently don't know to specify for, for which high-dollar trades of estates will transact. |
| 2026-0330 | When automated/auto-pilot automobiles become more common, there will be long “trains” of vehicles connected in some temporary way, to ferry passengers of private carriages down long stretches of road, to share the load akin to how geese rotate positions in the migratory V-shape, perhaps to draft along one another's wake, and potentially to share charge or towing strength of the group, to maximize charge/distance efficiency. |
| 2026-0330 | There will be power and/or heat generation areas in fields where thunderstorms are common, to harness increasing degrees of energy from lightning strikes, if not simply to rapidly super-heat a cell for heat storage. Tech will also exist to effectively bait strikes into hitting specific points, to eschew strikes hitting other areas like residential or trees. |
