temporary place holder for future photo gallery project

Below are results of experimentation with Perler beads as a patience exercise, intended to create a better sense of patience in dealing with a nerve disorder I have, called Essential Tremor that largely affects steadiness. Ever tried to lift something heavy, or bench press a weight and your arms begin to wobble under the pressure? Ever drink too much caffiene and your hands begin to tremble? That's essentially the scope of how ET irritates those with it -- but it doesn't wear off. Any amount of caffiene may worsen it, and lifting much of anything of significant weight can result in very shakey arms and legs for days afterward. By working with these Perler projects (rubbery beads set in a grid, then heated with an iron on both sides to make them melt together to make a solid surface), I hope to develop better patience with an otherwise easily frustrating condition -- that makes precise movements like the placement of individual beads very difficult. Enjoy =)
