Unanswered Questions I Asked AI
These are not questions which have 'gone unanswered' but rather, questions I have asked AI, just without me listing which particular answers I received then. This is a perhaps-spiritual sister entry to AI Questions I Asked in which I did list the answers thereof. I will attempt to include all questions asked within a single conversation. Only the generic models are listed, like ChatGPT or Google, not the versions. It would be safe to assume I asked only the most basic, non-logged-in version publicly available for that date. Questions for the same date would be safely interpreted as a new conversation or a new instance.
In an attempt to more pleasingly align the text for my purposes on wide monitors, I will use ◇ as a bullet point symbol to indicate a new question in that thread.
| Date Asked | Model | Question(s) |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-1009 | ChatGPT | ◇ In general, do you find that prediction calculations for a future event tend to grow increasingly accurate as the calculated moment draws nearer? ◇ Do you think doomsday prediction calculations will become increasingly accurate? ◇ Do you think humanity will reach the year 3000? ◇ My original context is based on an article from 1960 in a Science magazine which predicted next month to reach a population explosion so great as to approach infinity, based on population increases historically. If we were to take measure technological advancement from 1960 to present day, what technological innovations might be extrapolated to come about for the same amount of time ahead of us? |

| 2026-1009 | ChatGPT | ◇ My longtime understanding of the function of RAM has been that it is akin to adding additional pillars upon which to play the tactile puzzle Tower of Hanoi. Is that loosely accurate? |
| 2026-1009 | ChatGPT | ◇ I giggled about a recently answer you gave me, regarding RAM being measured in gigabtyes; in my experience with computing hardware upgrades, I have long measured it in megabytes personally. I have an unopened 4GB thumbdrive still in the packaging that I marvel at each time I see it, because 4GB is a “wow” number to me still, especially for a portable disk, as I am more accustomed to using a floppy diskette as my default of what I think of when imagining such tech. I suspect a lot of people likewise “think of things in terms of” increments or technology during formative/impressionable years which hold for them a imprinted default perspective that is difficult to shake. What kinds of things would you suggest people born of each decade, might hold as their kneejerk thought of how things still operate, based on that imprinted mode, from the 1910s to present? |
| 2026-1009 | ◇ do you think the ai interfaces which can create games from a single prompt, could create an incremental game that is playable inside a web browser, or would an LLM/etc like chatGPT be more suitable for that? |
|
| 2026-1012 | ◇ is there anything creative to use old disposable ink pens for? | |
| 2026-1012 | ◇ what is the mathematical symbol which resembles the partial-rectangular shape of a game of hangman? | |
| 2026-1012 | ◇ does the oblivion remaster currently have creation club | |
| 2026-1013 | ◇ Is Geordi a bridge officer? ◇ Is it not conceivable that Geordi would have needed to take the same test which Deanna failed several times before Riker halted the tests, which Deanna realized she needed to send Geordi to his death in order to pass? Who did Geordi himself send to their death, as he couldn't have sent himself? |
