Ablestmage's FarmVille Strategy Guide (Facebook Version) ============================================================= To me, the object seems to be to collect the most coins. To do this, selecting to optimum crop that has the least expensive seedling cost and the highest per-day harvest price is paramount. However, one needs to gauge how much time it is feasible/justifiable to spend playing the game in doing so. The best crop in my opinion, is Peppers. Since it costs 15 to plow one square of land, 70 to plant, and yields 162 coins per day, your total profit is 77 coins per square, and you only have to plant/plow/harvest once per day. With a 20x20 farm, it would come out to 30,800 net per day. In the raw figures department, the best bet would be Blueberries, but you'd have to plant/plow/ harvest 6 times per day. With a 20x20 farm, you'd come out with 62,400 net per day. The chart below states factors in the current price-per-square seedling plus the fallow-land plow cost per day, the yield per day, and the net profit per day. If a plant type is harvestable within hours, calculations are made based on 24-hour tending (which is not possible, technically, since there is a delay in planting/plowing). If a seedling matures in 8 hours, for instance, the cost per day would be 3 plows and 3 base seedling costs, and have triple the amount of yield (minus plows+seed). C/24 is the conversion of maturity to a 24-hour increment, so a 2-day maturity would be x1/2. +=============+ | SEEDLINGS | +=============+ T-M = To-Maturity Figure c/24 = conversion multiple to establish 24-hour figure CO/DAY = (Seedling cost + Plow cost) times C/24 HA/DAY = Harvest Figure times C/24 PR/DAY = Harvest figure minus Cost/Day NAME T-M C/24 CO/DAY HA/DAY PR/DAY -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Strawberries 4 hours x6 150 210 60 Eggplant 2 days x1/2 20 44 24 Wheat 3 days x1/3 16.6 38.3 21.6 Soybeans 1 day x1 30 63 33 Squash 2 days x1/2 27.5 60.5 33 Pumpkin 8 hours x3 135 204 69 Artichokes 4 days x1/4 21.25 51 29.75 Rice 12 hours x2 120 192 72 Raspberries 2 hours x12 420 552 132 Cotton 3 days x1/3 30 69 39 Bell Peppers 2 days x1/2 45 99 54 Peppers 1 day x1 85 162 77 Aloe Vera 6 hours x4 260 340 80 Pineapples 2 days x1/2 52.5 121 68.5 Blueberries 4 hours x6 390 546 156 Watermelon 4 days x1/4 36.25 87 50.75 Tomatoes [ NO DATA ] Potatoes [ NO DATA ] Carrots [ NO DATA ] Coffee [ NO DATA ] Corn [ NO DATA ] Sunflowers [ NO DATA ] Cabbage [ NO DATA ] Blackberries [ NO DATA ] Red Wheat [ NO DATA ] Yellow Melon [ NO DATA ] Broccoli [ NO DATA ] +==========+ | TREES | +==========+ With Trees and Animals, there is only one cost, but it's high and the harvest amounts are generally tiny. You'll never have to replant or re-purchase these, but there is often many many days until your investment actually begins to show an actual profit. Once you break even, however, all additional harvests are complete profit with no overhead.
